Earlsbrook, Delamere
RECOM Fire Solutions was appointed to provide Project Management services for the delivery of Passive Fire Protection works at Earlsbrook, a new 46-home development in Delamere, Cheshire. The programme ensures every property meets fire safety regulations, with cavity barriers installed between all semi-detached homes.
Project Details:
Working alongside L&Q Homes and the team at RECOM Solutions, our role covers project management, compliance planning, and fire safety assurance for all homes on the estate.
Our scope includes the installation of cavity barriers, budget-sensitive compliance planning, strategic project management, and the provision of fire safety information. We apply a safety-first, collaborative approach to make sure all works are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.

What we did differently
Delivering fire safety works on a live housing development required detailed planning and flexibility. Each property was at a different stage of construction, so works were scheduled to align with each phase and keep the programme on track for timely handovers.
To provide the best value for money without compromising safety, we offered a range of system and product options based on current market availability. We liaised directly with the construction team and client to confirm on-site requirements and address practical considerations. Regular updates were issued to all parties, and any issues were resolved collaboratively to keep the programme moving smoothly.

Our Outcomes
- Ongoing compliance across the full 46-home development.
- Seamless delivery with works planned in line with different build phases.
- Successful completion of homes within agreed timescales.
